Special Ed Classroom Pictures

The Teacher's Toolbox
Tomorrow is the first day of the 2016-17 school year! I'm so excited to welcome my students and get rolling! While I'll probably never feel like my classroom is completely ready, it's ready enough for us to get started.

This is the area where I teach small-group or 1:1 with the giant PC behind me.

This is another teacher area for a para or intern.

Students sit at their own tables for independent work tasks and snack time.
Arrival procedures are posted.
Superhero theme in our school this year.
This is our math area where we run small-group and 1:1 instruction.
This is always one of our first whole-group lessons, expected behaviors. This year, I am using a combination of Green & Red Choices from the wonderful Pocket of Preschool and Whole Body Listening posters from Especially Education.

My desk already looks better since I took this picture and my closet will eventually be organized because I can't live with it like that!
In love with my new lightbox!

Hope you have a wonderful new school year with lots of learning, love and laughter!
